About the Expo
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, the McNair Scholars Program, the Graduate Council's Research Committee and SPEAR-Students Promoting Educational Advancement & Research will host the 2nd Annual Research and Creativity Expo on Wednesday, November 4 at 3pm via Zoom. Current and future students from all levels and areas of study are invited to attend the event and become aware of the various undergraduate research, creative, and leadership opportunities available across campus. Goals of Expo
The goal of the Expo:
- Increase awareness of research and creative opportunities available to undergraduates.
- Facilitate an inclusive research and creative campus environment by connecting underrepresented students to opportunities on and off campus.
- Showcase current undergraduate and faculty research and creative projects.
- Connect faculty with interested students.
- Recruit for McNair Program, REACH Competition, Energy Scholars, Innovation Fellow, University Honors Program, and the Externship Program.
- Invite High School and Transfer Students to learn about future opportunities.
